Update following talks with the Minister - 12 June 2019

Kia ora koutou,

I want to give you a further update on progress following the talks with the Minister last week (6 June).

Negotiations have been ongoing this week between our negotiating teams and the Ministry over your agreements.

As I said in my update last week, constructive progress has been made. While I know you'll be eager to hear the detail, we need to give the negotiating teams the time they need to ensure the work is done before we share the outcomes more widely.

We are still expecting to present you with the outcomes of this work by the end of this week. You will then get a chance to fully consider and discuss the detail of what is presented.

Shortly following that, you will have a chance to decide by voting in an electronic ballot on whether to accept or reject any outcomes.

Thanks so much for your understanding and patience with the process. As I said, you will hear by the end of the week.

Ngā mihi nui,

Lynda Stuart
