You may have already heard the exciting news that the union representing teacher aides, NZEI Te Riu Roa, has negotiated with the government a pay equity settlement that is going to massively improve our pay and conditions.
But first we need to get our heads around the details and vote on whether to endorse the proposed settlement, which is for all of us, whether or not we belong to the union.
