There are not enough teachers to ensure every child has a positive learning interaction with a teacher. There is not enough time to develop relationships with tamariki as there are supervision issues and ongoing care routines to be done.
What will it take to fix staff to student ratios?
A ratio of 1: 6 or extra support staff to undergo lengthy care routines, toiletings, nappies sleeping etc.
