In a long day 48 week kindergarten we are worse off in terms of working conditions. Longer days = less professional time, burn out, resentment of other kindergarten conditions and compromises on quality.

What will it take to fix the limitations on professional time?

The conditions should be the same across all associations! Blocks of non contact rostered. There should be a kindergarten support worker in every kindergarten to allow teachers to do the job they trained for rather than the housekeeping.
