In term 4, kaiārahi i te reo across the motu will receive their first payment at the new pay equity rates!
Where we're at - term 4 2022
On Tuesday 18 October, kaiārahi i te reo across the motu will receive their first payment at the new pay equity rates. This will include back payment from 20 August 2021 to 30 September 2022!
NZEI Te Riu Roa members have access to support through our Member Support Centre on 0800 693 443, available Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
Note: covered employees are kaiārahi i te reo in state and state-integrated schools and kura, including those who finished their job on or after 20 August 2021 and started a position at another school, or left the workforce entirely.
