What does the issue of staff to student ratios mean for you as a teacher, and the tamariki you teach?

I feel stretched with the awhi and Aroha I can give. I feel that children miss out on a quality place of learning and spaces to regulate and find peace when the staff/child ratios are so high. I try my absolute best to counter this with planning, a great team, considered resourcing but I do not think it’s making enough of a difference.

Children will have more time with kaiako, a peaceful environment and more love.
