The care and learning of tamariki is seriously compromised particularly for tamariki between age 2 and 3 where there is lots of caregiving around rituals such as settling, nappy changing, toileting, putting tamariki to bed and monitoring sleeping tamariki. Whilst working on rituals we are not responding too and extending learning of other tamariki.

More qualified teachers.

Enjoyment of teaching. Without improved ratios I will leave my Head Teacher position. I will leave teaching. With current ratios quality is compromised.
