I work with toddlers who often need lots of support but a ratio of 1:10 means that me and my colleagues are often stretched and some children miss out and kaiako feel we are not offering quality education and care.

Lowering the ratio would be a fabulous way of ensuring tamariki receive the education and care they deserve and for kaiako to feel a better sense of job satisfaction.

What will it take to fix staff to student ratios?

More funding especially for 2-3 year olds.
